The apple tree has sprouted first....
I don't remember planting the apple seed but I do remember having an apple some months ago and knowing me it's not unlikely that I planted one or two or several of the seeds in various places hoping something would sprout.
About twelve years ago I had an apple seed sprout and it was doing really well except until one day I went camping and it was left to it's own devices and the downpour that occurred while I was gone. I really wasn't thinking when I planted it because it was in a glass bowl. The water pooled in the bowl and the poor little tree drowned.
