Along with rooting, November is an excelent time for dividing and planting bulbs. In my garden I have divided my hyacinth, day lillies, spider lillies, lemon grass, onion and garlic.
Garlic is also a good plant for keeping away pests.
It helps keep red spider mites away from tomatoes and borers out of your fruit tres.
Garlic will also help keep fleas out of the yard.
